Home Plan Pro is a fine architectural drawing program which allows you to not only make building drawings but also detailed plans of furniture, kitchens, electrical and sewerage plans. Practically anything you want in a very simple manner without reading comprehensive books of manuals.

So easy to use I can do floor plans, create my own clips, and move stuff around with out making 15 calls to my architect or space planner.

I know for a fact I've saved hundreds of dollars in architect fees. Not to mention it's much easier to get my point across when dealing with designers and architects that are not in the same room with you. You can send them a jpeg and say, "No the wall goes there, not there!"

I cannot praise Home Plan Pro enough for producing a CAD Prog that is worth its weight in gold. I have tried lots of others like Smartdraw, Auto-Cad LT, MicroCad, AutoSketch etc and each of the others are priced out of the average guys financial budget.

I now produce plans (using Home Plan Pro) for submission to the Local Planning Departments concerning 'domestic housing and structural alterations' within England (UK).

Well, this is just what I needed. I had a contractor over to give me estimates on a remodel job. He wanted $120 to measure and do the plans. I told him I would think about that.

I really do appreciate finding such a well-thought-out program with so many choices and ways to do things.
